ยังต้องรับรองสถานทูตตามปกติจนกว่าอนุสัญญาจะมีผลใช้บังคับกับประเทศไทยในวันที่ 28 กุมภาพันธ์ 2570 หลังจากนั้นเอกสารไทยที่จะใช้ในประเทศภาคีจะใช้ Apostille แผ่นเดียวแทนการรับรองสถานทูตได้ แต่ประเทศที่ไม่ใช่ภาคี เช่น ไต้หวัน เวียดนาม และกลุ่มประเทศอ่าวหลายประเทศ ยังต้องใช้ระบบรับรองสถานทูตต่อไป

Yes — until the Convention enters into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. After that, an apostille replaces embassy legalisation for member states, while non-member destinations such as Taiwan, Vietnam and several Gulf states will still require consular legalisation.
