›Which service do I need: notarisation, apostille or MFA legalisation?
It depends on where the document will be used. Documents for Hague Apostille Convention member states need certification by the Department of Consular Affairs; documents for non-member states additionally need the destination embassy. Notarial services certify signatures and copies for private and corporate documents, and are often required before certification.
›Do you translate documents as well as certify them?
Yes. We prepare certified translations and then handle the certification chain in the correct order — original or office-issued certified copy, translation, certification, and where required the destination embassy. Filing out of order is the most common cause of rejection.
›How long does the process take?
Turnaround depends on the issuing authority's queue, the document type and the destination country. We confirm a realistic timeline after seeing the documents rather than quoting a fixed number that may not hold.
›How do I get a quote?
Send the document type, the destination country and your deadline by phone, LINE or email. Our team reviews the file and replies with the required steps and a quote for your specific case.
Certified translation: what receiving authorities check
- Ask the receiving authority which certification it accepts — agency certification, a sworn/court translator, an embassy-listed translator or a NAATI-certified translator are not interchangeable.
- Provide a clean, complete scan including stamps, seals and reverse sides; missing seals are the top cause of a translation being refused.
- Give us the exact spelling of every personal name as printed in the passport, plus previous names if you have changed them.
